LABOUR’S RESIGNATION
POLITICAL CHANGE IX BRITAIN. NATIONAL CABINET FORMED. The Macdonald Cabinet has resigned and a Rational Cabinet is being formed under the leadership of Mr. Macdonald. The King received Mr. Macdonald, Mr. (Stanley Baldwin (Conservative Leader) and Fir Herbert Samuel (acting Liberal Loader) at the Palace with a party of leading politicians. The ‘Central News' understands Mr. Baldwin informed His Majesty that if Air. Macdonald formed a National Government he was willing to servo under him. Enormous crowds demonstrated as the Cabinet members mitered 10, Downing .Street. Tin* Cabinet rose at. 12.-o p.m. Mr. Lloyd George has been informed that it is intended that the National Government should confine itself: to the tfinane/ial relinquishing office when this is overcome.
