HEAD CRUSHED BY LORRY.

HAWERA MAN'S RATAL FALL. Instantaneous death resulted at Hawera on Friday last when the solidtyred rear wheel of a four ton motor lorry passed over the head of Mr. Leslie Murdoch Bloor, aged 27 years, an employee of the Hawera County Council. The accident occurred about 1.40 p.m. on the Ohawc Beach Road, about a mile from the Main South ltd., when Mr. Bloor was returning from hia work at the stone crashing plant at the Waingongoro River with four fellow workmen. Deceased fell off the back of the lorry and the rear wheel passed over his head.
