POTATO PRICES RECEDE
CANTERBURY PRODUCE MARKET. The potato market in Christchurch •has slipped further since the week-end. Then the quotation was £6 f.o.b. sacks in. On Monday ■ sales were made at £5 Ids, and now the price is £5 10s. Prices to farmers arc £4 ss. Still a fair number of small lines arc'offering from the farmers.
