SPECIAL MFETiXL. A inerting of the business men ol Wavei-lry was held on Tuesday evening. Air. E. C. Dallison was in tile chair, and Messrs. ,S. Marriott, L‘. P. rainier, \V. Dalrvmple, D. Forsyth, E. A. Fames were also present. Apologies tor nonait on lance were received from Messrs. Jlidge, L’ayneri. Moore, and Mulcahy owing to prior engagements. The object of the meeting was to stimulate business in Waverley during the Xmas ami New Year holiday season. It was decided that a decorative electric lighting .scihe'ine (be 'adoptee, and that an advertising campaign be also adopted. .Several matters of interest were discussed, and it was finally left to Messrs Dallison and Dalrymplo to make the necessary arrangements for the scheme.
