FOOTBALL WAVERLEY PLAYERS TO PLAY FOR PATBA Owing to Wavcrlcy’s inability to place a team in the Wanganui competitions this season, the following local players have obtained permission from the Wairoa Sub-Union to play for the Patea Football Club for one season only:— F. Fitzgibbon, W. and T. Cunningham, B. How, Murphy and D. Hair. The inclusion of these players should considerably strengthen Patea's chances in the Taranaki competitions.
