Fire Prevention—Station, hydrants, hose reel and hose. Public Library—Lending Department 3000 books, subscribers 10/ per annum. Free reading room. Entertainments Halls—Town Hall, Druids' and Foresters' Halls Recreation Reserve.—About 60 acres, including football, cricket tennis and croquet grounds. Mayor—J.J. Holtham Councillors—A.
