Lighting Electric light installed throughout the town. Two systems — Hydro and gas plant. Drainage Up-to-date septic tana system. Fire Prevention — Station, hydrants, hose-reel and hose. Public Library Lending Department, 3000 books. Subscription 10s per annum. Free reading room. Entertainment Halls Town Hall, Druids’ and Foresters’ Halls.
