PATEA WAR MEMORIAL.

UNVEILING ON TUESDAY

The memorial to the men of this district who fell in the Great War will be unveiled on Tuesday next at 11 a.m.

The unveiling will be carried out by Mrs C. A. Larcombc, President of the Patea Ladies’ Patriotic League, which did such splendid work for the men at the front during the war. . .The ceremony will commence at 11 n.m. and will take the form of a united service, the order being - as follows: 1. Hymn: “O God our help in ages past.” 2. Sentences from Burial Services. 8. The Lord's Prayer (all joining); Prayer from Burial Service.

4. Psalm XC. and I Corinth., Chap sv., versos 51 to 58. 5. Hymtt.— “Let Saints on Earth in I Concert Sing/ 1 (>. Address by. His Worship the Mayor. 7. Unveiling of Memorial. 8. "Last Post. 9. Dedicatory Prayer. 19. Selection by Band, ‘' Garland of Flowera." 11. Address. IS}. Inrrcn: “Por all the Saints who from their labours rest/’ 13. Concluding Prayer. 14. National Anthem. 15. Benediction. At the conclusion of the ceremony all returned 'men with their wives and next of kin will be entertained at luncheon in a marquee on the ground. All returned men are cordially invited to be , present.
