The annual ball of the roa itugby I’ aiou is to be held in Cue Waverlcy Town. Hull on Wed.a,.- lay next when there should be a record attendance. The committee are snaring no pains io make the function a success and all who ■.ies. re :o see the t'uion prosper should make a special point of purchasing a ticker and being present. The music will be supplied by .l-Tiiuoll’s H'awerc orchestra which of itself is a guarantee that - it will be of the best. With u good floor and a first class supper there should be nothing left to be desired. During the evening the Cup for the Senior Championship will be presented to the Waverley team.
Waverlcy residents are asked to note that the Childrens’ Concert in aid of St. Andrew’s Church Sunday School which was to have been held this evening has been postponed until October 7th next.
