THE LIGHTING SYSTEM.
Sir, — ! A rumour is going about that the now hydro plant is going to be run by boy labour. If this is so then I think it is time the ratepayers took a hand in the matter. Do yon know, Sir, that nearly all our troubles over the lighting have been caused through the plant at odd times being in charge of inexperienced persons. I think it would be a crime to put a new plant which has cost the ratepayers thousands in charge of ianyone who is not thoroughly experienced. It is better to be sure than sorry. Hoping some abler pen than mine will take the matter up, I am , etc., A RATEPAYER.
