CLAY PIGEON OPEN HANDICAP AT (STRATFORD. On Stli February two £SO Clay Pigeon shoots were held under the auspices of the,,Stratford Gun Club. Mr. F. Whittle, using C.A.C. cart- ** ridges, broke the highest posiblc number of birds in both iirst and second shoots —3t2 in all. He continued in the sweep which followed, scoring 40 consecutive breaks. Mr. A. Dobson, also using ' C.A.C. broke 31 out of 3:2. All /the winners in the iirst match shot with C.A.C., and all except one in the second match used C.A.C. ammunition. (Splendid shooting was recorded throughout the day, and the way the pigeons were smashed up evidenced the wonderful accuracy and effectiveness of these cartridges.
