PATEA PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the Patca I ’Junket Society was held on Friday, -tith November. Present: Mcsdames More (President), Mcilae (secretary), LTeenre. Ferry, and Crosbie. In her monthly report, (lie Nurse stated that sickness was prevalent among the babies. Unfortunately for Murse Pastel, she has been obliged to relinquish her duties owing fo illhealth. Application will be made by the Hawera Plunkct Society to the Central Council to appoint a relieving Nurse for the two months, at the end of which lime Nurse Dix will -take up the work again. The secretary of the Hawera Society wrote acknowledging with thanks Patea’s donation towards the Ford ear which the nurse now has at her disposal. Accounts were read and passed for payment. The Society will not meet again till the fourth Friday in .Tanuarv.
