Another old colonist passed away on Saturday at Auckland in the person of Mrs. Arbuckle, who had lived for many years in the Auckland district. She is survived by a family of five daughters : Mrs. B. Cashmorc, Mrs. E. Crouch, Mrs. 11. Sandford, Mrs A. Purdy (Auckland), and Mrs. A. 0. Hemingway (AVavorlcy).

Horner, of Paten) was in Canada for the purpose of gaining wider experience in bis . profession as a civil engineer.
