Organisation Society report that on Thursday at Whenuakura they had a clearing sale on account of Messrs Simson- Bros., when there was a large attendance of buyers. Bidding was very brisk throughout. Prices were : Sows £l2 10s to £l4, store pigs £2 17s to £3 os, dairy cows £lO to £3O, the whole herd of over 130 cows averaging £lB os. A largo quantity of. sundries sold at ruling rates.
