Furniture and sundries sold well. FA TIMER 8' CO-OP. OKG. SOCIETY. The Farmers ’ Co-op. Organisation Society report that on Thursday at Whenuakura they had a clearing sale on account of Messrs Simson- Bros., when there was a large attendance of buyers. Bidding was very brisk throughout. Prices were : Sows £l2 10s to £l4, store pigs £2 17s to £3 os, dairy cows £lO to £3O, the whole herd of over 130 cows averaging £lB os. A largo quantity of. sundries sold at ruling rates.

(Hawora branch) report as follows : At Waverley on Tuesday, 22nd Inst., wo held a clearing sale of live and dead stock on account of Mr. F. H. Dcverill, and good prices resulted. Four I) and f.m. ewes in lamb fifis fid, hoggets ISs, cull owes 4s fid, cull lambs 9s, dairy cows close to profit £lfi 10s to £ls ss, in-calf heifers £fi 15s, 2-ycar steers £0 2s fid, empty 20-month heifrers £5 15s, good farm horses £22 to £fiO. Household furniture and farm implements and sundries sold at high prices.
