WAIROA DOMAIN BOARD
The same members then sat as the Wairoa Domain Board. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Mr. Taylor reported that ho and Mr Napier had gone into tho question of a new cook-house. The building would be 30 feet by 18 feet, with two brick chimneys, one at each end. A rough plan had been prepared, which was submitted for tho consideration of the Board.
After a long discussion and the question of finance had been gone into Mr. Bromiley moved that tenders be called for the erection of a cook-house at the beach. Tenders to closo on 14th August at 5 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Fantham and carried.
It was decided that a number of Pampas grass plants be procured providing the campers would form a working bee and plant the grass. It was considered that this would provide good shelter in a very short time. This concluded tho business and tho Chairman declared the meeting closed.
