A few days ago, Mrs and Miss Mitchell with Miss F. Boagey, journeyed to Ohakune and assisted with a Bazaar that was being held there. The Ohakune Times, refers to Miss Mitchell and Miss Boagey’s work in most flattering terms. In one issue it says : “ During the evening, one of the special attractions of the bazaar was the graceful dancing of Misses Maud Mitchell, and F. Boagey. Miss Mitchell is a brilliant artist as a dancer, and her pupil, Miss Boagey, is also much above the amateur standard. Both young ladies fascinated the audience, who encored every item enthusiastically.” In another issue it says: “ Miss Maud Mitchell’s talent as a graceful dancer has won the admiration of all who have seen her, and her pupil, Miss Freda Boagey is also singularly gifted. Botli dancers gave a most dainty and artistic exhibition, and each night the delight of the audience has been unbounded.”
