ONE DECISIVE VICTORY.

GERMANY MIGHT SURRENDER TO BRITISH SEA POWER.

New York, January 23. The present position of the war as seen by America is summarised by the Tribune, which declares that “on water there has been a decision which every week, every month tends to make more absolute. “This decision is the victory of British sea power. For more than a year no German ship has sailed. Hamburg and Bremen are paralysed by the British blockade and Trieste and Constantinople by ships of Britain’s Allies. “All tin; Great Powers that arc fighting Germany have nse of the seas. What is vital is that unless Germany can alter its decision on water she must ultimately surrender on British terms.”
