SHOOTING.
Teams Championship. The following team will represent the Patea Defence Rifle Club in the match with Eaponga for the Championship Shield teams match at Kaponga on Thursday next:— President P. Palmer, Deputy-Pres. D. Thompson, Riflemen D. Boots, H. Gilshnan, M. Oarey, E. Thompson, B. Willis, T, Johnson. The team will travel by the 4 30 mail train on Wednesday for Ehham. Bailway passes may be had on applying to the Secretary. Patea v Meremere. The following team will represent the Patea Defence Rifle Club in a match with the Meremere Rifle Club on Wednesday next, 22nd July, at Patea :—President P. I Palmer, Riflemen M Oarey, H Gilshnan, E Thompson, T Johnson and Booth. The Meremere team will arrive by the 10.20 mail train and shooting will commence at 12.30 sharp.
