FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE ORGANISATION SOCIETY.

There was a big attendance of farmers at Inglewooa on Friday, at the aiee ing of the farmers' Co-opera-tive Organisation Society for the purprpo of discussing the affairs of the Society, and principally the prospects of getting sufficient support with a vieV to making a start in the Ingle* wood district. As the outcome of the meeting, sufficient share capital was subscribed to warrant the Association ereoting saleyafds at Inglewood, and a start will probably be made at onoe, Mr QH Buckeridge, chairman of directors, presided over an attendance of abont 125 farmers. Other directors present were Messrs J EOorrigan, D Todd. W Skedgwell and W Jones. Mr Buckeridge outlined the history of the Society at length, and showed how successful it had already been since its inception. Itsbusinbss had more than doubled in the three months
