The Waitotara Challenge.
Sir.—l would be glad if you would kindly grant me space in your columns to reply to the challenge recently issued by the Waitotara Football Club. I have plaoed the matter before my club who are of opinion that in view of the lateness of the season, no good purpose would be served by accepting the challenge referred to. They will however, look forward with pleasure to meeting their recent rivals for Championship honours on the field nest season Thanking you in anticipation, I' am etc., P.
