The local troop, under Scoutmaster Rind cl I. journeyed to Wanganui last week and from all accounts had a m >st anjiyabla time, being received at the Aramuho station by tho Arameho troop, aud afterwards at Wanganui by the Wanganui boys. _ A good day’s work was put in, tracking, despatch running, and racing competitions being held in wlueb tliG Patea boys managed to seeivo one first and two second prizes. Tho Wanganui troop very kindly arranged for the billeting of the members tf Tho Patou troop, and at the close of tho diy Scoutimstor liuiloll tendered the officers and scouts of the Wanganui and Aramoho troops his hsarty thanks for the hospitality accorded his troop. Tho Wanganui Scouts will visit Patea on the 23rd iast, when they will be the guests of tho local troop.
