Mr G, Ireland returned by the mail train last night, from a holiday trip to the South Island.

The wedding of Lady Edwina Heberts, second daughter of Lord Roberts, and Major Lawin, which took place in London on Wednesday, was a semi-military function which excited much interest, A large number of notabilities were present in the church and there was a great crowd of spectators.
