THE WARD FARMER’S ASSOCIATION
Invercargill, August 9.
The profits of the Ward Farmers’ Association for the year ended June 30th amount to £0,500. It is proposed to pay a 7 per cent dividend, 3 per cent bonus on goods purchased, 10 per cent refund on commissions charged, and 3 per cent bonus on the salaries of the staff. It is proposed to transfer £2OOO to the reserve fund, and to reduce the goodwill account. The directors report the year a trying one for farmers, but the coming year is more hopeful.
