Land Board Meeting.
[SPECIAL TO MAIL.] New’ Plymouth, Monday. At to-day’s meeting of the Land Board a letter was read from'Mr Williams stating that, a number of men in Wellington wished to take land in the vicinity of Stratford, if the board held out any prospect of work. There were twenty to filly men, with about £4O each, ready to come. The Board referred the letter to the Government.
