VICTORY CLUB DANCE

FORESTERS' HALL FUNCTION The Victory Club dance held on Saturday night was a great success both socially raid financially and is a result the Plunket funds will benefit considerably. Mrs Tait was ip excellent form at the piano and extras were kindly played by Misses M. Bisset and B. Brooks. The evening passed all too quickly with the programme in the capable hands of Mr Leith Parker as M.C. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss O. Manson aaid partner. The members of the Plunket Society very kindly provided a most delicious supjier which gave a rare holiday to th© ‘Victory cooks.'’ At the eiij of the dance, Mrs Paterson, in a few well chosen words and in somewhat humorous vein, thanked the Victory Club for organising the* dance in aid of the Plunket So. 100 funds. The Victory Club members wish to express their s.incere thanks to nil who assisted to make the function a success.
