TWO ENEMY SUBMARINES
IN STRAITS OF GIBRALTAR United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ALGECTTRAS * October 1. Two submarines are reported in the Straits of Gibraltar. Destroyers and numerous launches are churning up the straits with depth charges while seaplanes are patrolling i convoy of twenty ships ready leave Gibraltar where the battleship Malaya and five destroyers are in harbour.
