FOWLS IN GOOD DEMAND. At the Mart Sale yesterday a good clearance was effected at the following rates : 8.0. Cockerels from 3s 9d to Is 6d, W.L. Cockerels from 3s, W.L Hens from 4s, Black Minorca Hens from 4s Id to 4s 6d, Ducks from 3s 3d, Drakes 4s fid to os. Hens with eight chicks 10s fid, with 9 chicks 11s 6d. I’igs : Wcaners medium from los fi-d. Produce:— Potatoes £l3 10s to £l4 ton. Cabbage 17s lOd, Cauliflower 16s sack, Carrots 3s fid. Parsnips os fid, Swedes 2s sugar bag. Seed Potatoes 10s per ewt.
