AIR. D. AIcMINN FAREAYELLEH

A number of country clients and friends ot Air D. McMinn, garage proprietor of Pahiatua, foregathered last evening at the home ot Mr and Mrs C. Burt, junior, to say farewell to Mr McMinn who is shortly leav,n S to join the New Zealand Air Force. Mr McMinn was the recipient of a handsome fountain pen which was handed over on behalf of those present by Mr W. D. Harris, of Ruawhata, who also well wished tindeparting member. Other speakers also took the opportunity of wishing Mr McMinn the best of luck and of referring to the goodwill associations which had always existed between him and his large circle of country clients.
