YESTERDAY'S REALISATIONS. Yesterday saw the largest entry of poultry at the Pahiatua Mart and prices, with the exception of small cockerels, were very satisfactory. A line of 26 purebred White Leghorn pullets realised 8s each ; W.L. cockerels, lid to Is 7d ; one-year W.L. hens, 3s; 8.0. hens, 2s to 2s 8d; W.L. hens, Is Gd to Is Sd; ducks, 2s 7d; drakes, 2s 7d; one-year Austrolop hens, 4s 6d.
Fruit: Peaches, 5s 3d to 6s case; pears, 3s case; new potatoes, 4s 6d to 6s sugar bar; tomatoes, 3s to 4s 6d_ case; quinces, 4s to 5s case.
