PAHIATUA STOCK SALE
A fair yarding of sheep comprising chiefly small lots of medium quality lambs, which had a ready sale, was offered bv Dalgety and Co., Ltd., at the Pahiatua sale. Two lines of we*aner Jersey heifers were offered, but prices failed to reach vendors’ reserve. Account M Castle, ewe lambs 6s 4d; wether lambs 7s and 7s 2d ; b.f. lambs 7s 6d ; account J. Rose b.f. lambs. 4s 6d' and 7s 6d ; ewe lambs 5s 2d and 7s lOd; wether lambs 5s lOd ; ewes Is 7cl and 5s 3d; account Hodgins Bros., ones 4s- account E. H. Burling, b.f. lamb’s 8s Id, 8s 6d : other vendors, b.f. lambs 8s Id and 4s 6d.
