MOSCOW PRISONERS
RELEASED ON BAIL DINNER AT EMBASSY. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyrigh t. MOSCOW, April 4. Before their release the Vickers engineers. Messrs Cushny, Thornton and Gregory, had their indictments read to them. They entered a general denial. It is understood that each was unaware of the presence of the others in gaol. They were met at the gates by Mr Monkhouse. After telephoning and telegraphing to their families in England they went to the Embassy, where they dined with the Strangs. Seen, there by Press representatives tliev said that questions were not permitted. All looked tired, but in cheerful spirits. WILL LIVE IN OWN HOMES. MOSCOW, April 5. The bailed Vickers engineers will live in their homes under pledge to remain in Moscow until the trial. BRITISH SOLICITOR WILL ATTEND TRIAL. LONDON, April 5. Mr Robert Turner, a member of tin' Metro-Vickers’ firm of solicitors, will attend the trial of the Vickers engineers. He does not speak Russian, but will get in touch with members of the. Russian Bar.
