Miss Nixon plays a role that will be met with approval everywhere. Jack Dakie who has been featured in a number of film hits, including “Dancers in the Dark,” “Million Dollar Legs” and “Skv Bride.” gives a remarkable performance the easily tempted fighter. Zasu Pitts. one of the screen’s best known comediennes, plays the role of a telegraph operator. William Collier. Sr., another actor who has appeared in a number of outstanding film hits, gives a rich performance as the honest manager who is rewarded hy being made match-maker for the Garden. "William Boyd is cast- as an ifaginative scoundrel who furnishes his pugilistic contender with plaster bandages. Film fans will remember Boyd for his appearances in a number of recent film bits. Lew Cody, who has specialisc*d in movie villainv for many rears, is cast as the black-hearted bootlegger.
