The Hukauui Hall was filled ter farewell Miss E. Chamtars, who Has been stationed at. Hukanui illt the past two vt-ars*. and. who w«*s recently promoted to a school in .Feilding. JLambie. on behalf 02 tiie school children.. presented the honor, red guest of the evening with, a beautiful book and also spoke in glowing terms- of. the way in. which -lie carried. out her duties although handicsjjped considerably by illhealth during, her first year in: the position. Prior to the arction of goods a most enjoyable concert was given by a ,»arty from the Lketahuna Methodist Church The programme comprised monologues dialogues and songs, all ex.ellc-ulv rendered.
