SPORTS ON DOMAIN
(From Our Own Correspondent). The Xgaturi school picnic was held in the Xgaturi Domain on Friday last in ideal weather. A splendid gathering of parents and settlers were present, and a most enjoyable day was spent amongst young nnd old. Games were played by the young folk of the district. The ladies supplied a very nice lunch and dainty afternoon tea. Mr, D. Morison (chairman) presented the prize money and thanked all who had made the picnic such a success. He asked Mr J. Dick, as the oldest settler in the district, t > present the prizes and the latter made a fitting speech. Malcolm Chisnall and William Heckler gained their proficiency, and eight children attendance certificates. The children gave Miss Falconer a small gift, presented by little lan Morison.
