The Girls’ Club staged a short plat, and also contributed two glees. Their performance was much appreciated. Acceptable vocal items were supplied by Mr S. Matthews, the acI companist being Mr G. H. Ball. Rev. G. V. Gerard presented the various prizes and thanked all exhibitors, workers and performers. The gross takings were over £2O. which considering the hard times and the inclement weather, is regarded as quite satisfactory.
