NGATURI SCHOOL.

THE ANNUAL PICNIC. The annual -picnic of the Ngatun School was held lately in the Domain grounds, while the sports events were conducted alongside in Air J. Breeds’ pad-dock. There was a large attendance of parents and children all of whom thoroughly enjoyed the day. Alusic wais- kindly supplied by Air Herbert. At the conclusion of the sports, afternoon tea (which was done full justice to) v.q.s supplied by the ladies. In a brief speech, the chairman of the school committee -Air Jas Dick) thanked all present, for the splendid attendance at the- gathering. and he also thanked Air Herbert for tiie use of the paddock A very successful dance was held in the evening at "The Grange” (Air Dick’s residence).
