The Spring meeting of the Masterton Racing Club was held to-day at Ojiaki before a good attendance. Rain fell during the first three events. The track was in good older. The tote investments totalled £13,979 as compared with £12,901 last year. Concluding results:— Highweight Handicap -. 2 Shining Armour 1. 6 Star Area 2, 1 Starhoard Light. 3. DUNEDIN, Last Night. The Dunedin Jockey Club’s Sjiring Meeting was concluded on Saturday in flue weather. The track was in good order and, there was a large attendance. The tote handled £20,611 10s, comijpa red with £19.147 10s for the second clay last y'ear. making the total for the meeting £34,818 'compared with £35,532 10 s last" year. An inquiry was held into the running of Red Heather, but the explanation was accepted. Results:—
