. MASTERTON MEETING COMAIENDATION’S EASY AVIN. Electric TeJegrapn.— Press Association MASTER TON, Last Night. The Spring meeting of the Masterton Racing Club was held to-day at Ojiaki before a good attendance. Rain fell during the first three events. The track was in good older. The tote investments totalled £13,979 as compared with £12,901 last year. Concluding results:— Highweight Handicap -. 2 Shining Armour 1. 6 Star Area 2, 1 Starhoard Light. 3. AA’on by half a length ; a length. Lady Gay was fourth Time, 1.45 Lansdowne Handicap: 2 Arrow Boy 1, 11 Ramesis 2. 10 Cold Air 3. Won by three-quarters of a length each way. King Quex was fourth. Time, 1.16 2-5. Mastertoii Handicap: 2 Roy T al Game, and 1 Blimp, dead heat. G Wild Pigeon 3. The third horse was l three-quarters of a length away and Black Mint wa.s fourth. Time, 2.10 3-5 Lawn Handicap : 6 Courageous I. S Billion 2, 3 Imarosebud 3. Won by one and a-half lengths; half a length. Full Mark was fourth. Time 1.44. Grandstand Handicap: 1 Commendation 1. 5 Teri 2, 4 King Midas 3. AVoii by two lengths; one length. Horomea was fourth. Time. 1.29 2-5. Electric Handicap: 3 The Dove 1, 1 Dry Area 2. 5 Water Spear 3. DUNEDIN, Last Night. The Dunedin Jockey Club’s Sjiring Meeting was concluded on Saturday in flue weather. The track was in good order and, there was a large attendance. The tote handled £20,611 10s, comijpa red with £19.147 10s for the second clay last y'ear. making the total for the meeting £34,818 'compared with £35,532 10 s last" year. An inquiry was held into the running of Red Heather, but the explanation was accepted. Results:—
