Mr R. B. Ross is on a visit to Pahiatua. Mr J. A. Burteiishaw. of Napier, was the guest of Mr J. D. C. Crewe for the ikeek-end. Mr A. S. Clulow has been reappointed chairman of directors of the Kaitawa Dairy Company. Advances to suppliers for the first part of the season will be maintained at eighteenpence per lb. butterfat by the Kaitawa Dairy Company. A very large attendance is anticipated at tb© dance to be held in the Mangatainoka Library hall to-night in aid of the Hnimai Ladies’ Hockey Club. The music, floor and supper will be excellent. At a Directors’ meeting of the Mangahao Cheese Company held subsequently to the general meeting on Saturday. Mr R. C. Yates wais reelected chairman for the ensuing year. There was a large attendance -1 the tennis dance held in Mr H. Cotter’s woolshed at Ngaturi on Friday evening, a most enjoyable time being spent. Capital music was supplied by Messrs R. Paku and E. Herbert, extras being played by Mr J. Prentice. The M.C. was Mr B. Piper. A dainty supper was partaken of.
