ODDFELLOWS' LODGE
THE LOCAL BRANCH. The usual fortnightly meeting of the above (Manchester Unity) was held in the Lodge room on Monday evening last. I.P.N.G. Bro. L. Kitchen presiding over a fair attendance. A communication was received from the newly-appointed publicity officer respecting newspaper propaganda. Arrangements were completed for the inemliers of the local lodge to pay a return visit to the Dnnimvirke lodge on the 21st inst.. and. judging by the names already handed in. a good muster will make th«a journey. Matters in connection with the annual dance were dealt with, and judging from the enthusiasm shown the function bids fair to lie as jiopnlar as its predecessors One new member was initiated into the Order, and a candidate proposed for membership.
