MISSING MAN

BODY FOUND IN CREEK. The District Coroner (Mr J. D. Wilson) was advised this morning by the Eketahuna police 'bat the bodv of a man named Fred Rogers, aged about 32 years, who had been missing for about a fortnight, had been ioued, in a creek this morning at Waihoke Valley. The body was removed to Eketahuna, where an inquest will be held probably on Monday morning. FURTHER PARTICULARS. Electric Telegraph—Press Association EKETAHUNA, This Day. A man named Frederick Rogers, had been missing from Cox anil Gunning’s Waterfalls station for nearly a fortnight. The police at Eketahuna and Pongaroa organised search parties, which were unsuccessful, but found blacks and some clothing on the banks f a creek this morning. Advice has been received that the body was found in a creek two miles away from where the articles were found. The only known relatives is a sister at Hawera and formerly of Hastings.
