\UCKLAND PROTEST TO DOMINION COUNCIL. Electric Telegraph —Press Association Auckland, June 21. The Auckland centre of the Swimming Association passed unanimously a resolution making the strongest protest to the Dominion Council against what it desc®bed as a uncall-ed-for persona! attack by Messrs O’Neill and O’Brien on Mr Fermandez in connection with the Australian swimmers’ visit, and recorded its fullest confidence in Messrs Fernandez and Cyade, to whose efforts much of the success of tlie visit was due. It instructed the centre’s delegates to the Council to move that Messrs O’Neil! and O’Brien on Air Fernandraw unreserved y the statements made, with the same publicity.
