KING'S THEATRE.
HER SHATTERED IDOL.”
Those who witnessed the Majestic Com pan vs fine oomedv-drema, "The' Lost Lord Lovell. ’ some time back at the King’s Theatre, will still remember with pleasure the remarkably tine rendering <e the slavey as portrayed by Mi<-- Mae Marsh. Just such another. but of a somewhat different theme is the excellent four-act Majestic feature. "Her Shuttere<l Idol,' which again features. Mac Marsh in k clever ' haracterisation admirably blended with sparkling comedy touches and deep pathetic situations. This tine photoplay, which will l>c introduced at the King s Theatre tomorrow night should prove a strong attraction to picturo patrons. The happy combination ol laughter-rais-ing incidents and stirring adventures >n "Her Shattered Tdol” being quite out of the ordinary run of picture plots For vivid realism the dream of prehistoric days, with the fierce fight of the two cave men for the woman has seldom, if ever, been equalled The picture is splendidly . oted Miss Mae Marsh, Robert Harron and big Elmo Lincoln being a.rgefy responsible for the success of the play. Although the 4000 feet star subject holds pride of place, the rest or the programme is of jj. very high order. TD clever cartoons of Raoel Bair*- in “Cartoons in a Laundry,” are wonderfully amusing, and “His Jungle Sweetheart” provides a dramatic tory around the famous Selig leopards. A particularly interesting Garotte and »ome beautiful scenic studies complete a first-class programme.
