London, Last Night. A German wireless states that fully B 5 per cent, of the German woundtd are fit to resume the most arduous duties within nine months of being incapacitated. At present there are 1,500,000 wounded, all of whom are returning to the front. A million are now ready and the remainder are rapidly convalescing.

The conference of the industrialist section of the Labour party views with grave concern the possible extension of the British Compulsion Act to British residents abroad, and calls on the Labour movement to strenuously resist conscription in any form applying to the citizens of Australia.
