The newspapers are irritated at the Matin’s publication of the alleged secret agreement between Bulgaria and Servia against Austria prior to the war. The newspapers savagely criticise King Ferdinand of Bulgaria, and demand his departure from Vienna. They accuse him of betraying Austria’s confidence and then coming to Vienna to exchange sallies with actresses behind the scenes when his country lost 100,000 men and 50,000 are going round on crutches. The Emperor Franz Josef gave an audience to King F'erdinand. Vienna, This Day. King Ferdinand lias left Sofiawards. A high Bulgarian personage declares that the Bulgarian Government forced King Ferdinand to sign a secret Serbo-Bulgarian treaty. King E'erdinand hesitated for a long time, and when he signed the document exclaimed: “God preserve Bulgaria from tlie consequences!” The personage in question added that all misunderstanding between King Ferdinand and the Emperor Franz Josef arising out; of the publication of the treaty has now been cleared. Constantinople, This Day. A courtmartial retired Kavdlky Mustapha and confirmed the death sentence. It is believed that the Porte will refuse the Russian counsel’s de- . mand for his release. Oround also committed non-political murders. Aymi Berg’s appointment as the Vali of Adana is interpreted to forestall the demand for his dismissal.
