ANTI-HOME RULE.

DEMONSTRATION IN BELFAST BONAR LAW’S (JREAT SPEECH. POSITION AT WAR TIME. IRELAND’S OPPORTUNITY. Electric Telegraph—Press As:ociation. Copyright. (Received this day at 9 a.m.) London, This Day. Special trains ran to Belfast from all parts of the country for the antiHome Rule demonstration. The processions took three hours to pass. Mr Edward Carson presided at a mammoth gathering. Mr Bonar Law, leader of the Unionists, isaid the Unionist Party regarded Ulster’s cause as the Empire’s cause. The creation of an Irish Parliament, even if it proved friendly to England, would involve friction, and in the event of war England’s difficulty would be Ireland’s opportunity. The running of such a risk, he said, was gambling with the National security. A resolution expressing unalterable opposition to a separate Parliament was carried.
