A sharp decline in flour took place at Glasgow owing to heavy arrivals. Australian sales followed at 33s 6d ex quay, a small quantity offering; London, 33s to 345. Butter is quiet with good inquiry. Choicest New Zealand is about 100 s to 101 s, Australian 94s to 955, other sorts neglected. Cheese is firm, white New Zealand 60s to 61s, coloured 62s to 635.

Sugar, German 10s sd, first marks 12s 3d. At Bradford wool is firm and unchanged. At the sheepskin sales 5580 Australasian skins were catalogued, merinos and fine crossbreds were a farthing to a halfpenny dearer. Coarse crossbreds and combings a halfpenny dearer. The bulk of the offerings was clothing qualities. Short woollen skins showed an eighth to a farthing decline, and there were many withdrawals. Pelts were neglected.
