GRASSLAND FARMING
AN ASSOCIATION FORMED. PALMERSTON N„ August 6. The conference of officers of the Department of Agriculture and others interested in grassland research was resumed this morning, when it was decided to form an association for the advancement of grass farming. The following officers were elected!—President, Mr A. 11. Cockayne; secretary and treasurer, Mr R. P. Connell; hon. auditor, Mr C. H. Swass; committee—Messrs A, W. Hudson, F. L. Scrivener, and J. W. Hadfield. It was resolved that the first annual meeting be held at Lincoln Collelge in December.
