FRUIT EXPORT CONTROL.

CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. WELLINGTON, October 9.

Mr J. L. Brown, chairman of the New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board, will arrive back from England on November 11.

Shortly after his arrival there will be an important conference of exporters to receive the chairman’s report and discuss the proposals for next years exports. The matter of exchange, which: is greatly in favour of New Zealand exporters at the present time, will also be considered, as it is hoped that the favourable exchange on 1,250,000 cases of fruit will enable a very welcome bonus to be paid. Other financial matters of considerable importance will also probably be discussed.
