AFFAIRS IN SAMOA.
NATIVES ARRESTED
AUCKLAND, October 7.
Mr O. F. Nelson reports having received a censored radiogram from Samoa stating that a large number of natives have been arrested at Faafaleaga, in Savaii, for failing to pay their taxes. Those arrested include Pasia, a leading orator.
NO UNUSUAL DEVELOPMENTS. WELLINGTON, October 9. The correspondent of the Press Association at Apia cables that there have been no unusual developments in Samoa. No event of any importance has occurred.
