RURAL CREDITS.

NEW SYSTEAI APPROVED. WELLINGTON, January 21. The measure of last session amending; the Rural Intermediate Credits Act provided for an increase of the maximum amount of a loan which could ‘be obtained from a board by any one borrower from £lOOO to £2OOO. As this increased limit resulted in the system being more suited to the needs of sheep farmers and graingrowere than was the case under the original limit the board has given consideration to the setting up of a special system which provides facilities required by these classes of farmers. Details of the new system have been finally approved by the board, and the system is readily being availed of by farmers.
